Sleep talking

N has started talking in his sleep. Usually early in the morning, not long before we wake up for the day. Last night, he was talking about Thomas characters again. It started with him shouting:
"Salty at the docks".

Then the conversation continued:
N: Where's Salty?
Me: At the docks?
N: YES!
Me: But it's night time now.
N: YES!
Me: Salty is sleeping
N: YES!

Then he rolled over, nursed for a few seconds and went back to sleep.

That's a good one... we have a lot of good sleep talking (and sleep walking) stories, all of them equally nonsensical. It's hard not to laugh when they're getting all upset when they're talking in their sleep.

LOL! Just this morning as I was getting ready for work (about 7:00), #3 screamed from upstairs: "Put the tracks back!" I went upstairs as he was shrieking it a couple of more times.

I sat on his bed and said "what's wrong?" He said "You put my tracks away" I said "Here they are!" (producing nothing) and then "put your head back on your pillow". He rolled over & went back to sleep.

Nuts. Except that I'm sure I've done something similar. Probably lately.

Yeah, he gets it from me... I used to talk in my sleep a lot. Just ask my sister who used to share a bed with me.
